• Assistant Product Manager 
   
  GCI Technologies Corp. A highly successful manufacturer of DJ, PA, and MI equipment has currently an exciting new opportunity for an Assistant Product Manager to oversee, the development and expansion of our iKEY-AUDIO product line. The ideal candidate will possess solid understanding of the Disc Jockey, Musical Instrument and Consumer Electronics industry.   The successful candidate will be proficient in the following tasks: 
  • Define and design new products and product strategies based on market requirements
  • Identify and analyze industry trends to insure brand growth
  • Work closely with engineering during the development of new products
  • Work with vendors regarding production product requirements and oversee that all projects remain on schedule in order to assure time to market according to plan
  • Manage products throughout life cycle
  • Work closely with sales and marketing to determine marketing strategy to launch new products in the market place
  • Train and assist the sales force
  • Public speaking and educating inside and outside associates and customers on new products at trade shows and retail stores.
   
  Qualifications:
  • Creativity to come up with new cutting edge product
  • Thorough understanding of DJ/MI/CE markets
  • Understanding of latest technology and the future of technology
  • Ability to manage multiple projects
  • Strong organizational, written, oral and communications skills
  • Adobe Illustrator, Microsoft Office Suite of products, Mac & PC proficiency
  • 3D or CAD software knowledge a plus
  *Some travel may be necessary.
